STEMPacts

Relocating from your home country into an entirely new educational system can be overwhelming. Let's make your child's transition to BC easier! Our team has created programs to encourage and foster interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), paving a path for your child's higher education and career prospects.

01

Young Scientist Program

Join our free interactive STEM experiment workshops where we assemble and explore various STEM experiment kits to delve into hands-on learning of STEM concepts. Currently, open to age groups; 5-8 year old and 9 to 12-year old children. We welcome parents to join!

02

Mentorship Program

This free program provides the opportunity for newcomer youth with interests in STEM to connect with, a STEM student from the University of British Columbia and a seasoned professional in a STEM field in collaboration with Immigrant & International Women in Science (IWS). Youth will establish meaningful connections and have the support to pursue their interests.
